Digital Communications Specialist
This is a brand new role on the communications team and reports to the Communications Director. The Digital Communications Specialist will create and implement cross-channel digital communications plans to drive awareness and increase engagement. This role is equal part strategist and content creator. The ideal candidate will have the right skills and be excited to be part of building something new! Essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Digital Campaigns. Create multi-channel communication campaigns to drive brand awareness of the Foundation and increase engagement. This includes all facets of a campaign, from strategy to actual design of email, blog and social media posts.
  • Analyze data and create digital campaign reports. Utilize metrics-based reporting to analyze, assess and adjust digital tactics/content if needed.
  • Serve as primary communications contact/strategist for at least one team within the organization, such as Community Impact. Manage co-department meetings for this team and serve as a lead for their communication projects, which may include print collateral.
  • Assist with special projects and other duties beyond those described above, as needed.
  • Minimum three years of experience creating and deploying content across digital communication channels including newsletters and social media.
  • Minimum three years of experience using Emma or similar email marketing platform. Experience using automation, segmentation and workflows a big plus.
  • Solid understanding of digital design tools and best practices. Experience with Adobe products a big plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
